What is HotSeat?
HotSeat is an AI mock interview platform that pressure-tests your interview skills with three distinct AI interviewers in one shared conversation. It adapts to your resume and profile, then delivers evidence-backed feedback on where you are strong and where you need work.
How do the three AI interviewers work?
The Grinder probes technical depth, the Stress-Tester challenges claims and watches how you recover under pressure, and the Culture-Fit interviewer explores judgment and behavioral stories. They share context across the session so follow-up questions build on what you actually said, not a script.
What is included when I sign up?
Every new account receives a one-time grant of 50 unified credits. Use them across live interviews, text-based interviews, knowledge tests, or additional resume extractions. Credits never expire.
How does pricing work?
HotSeat uses one unified balance with no packages or subscription. In India, one credit costs ₹1 before 18% GST. Outside India, one credit costs $0.02 before applicable tax, with the final currency and total shown before payment. A knowledge test costs 5 credits, a text-based interview 20, and a live interview 50.
Do credits expire?
No. Both signup credits and purchased credits do not expire. There is no auto-renewal or subscription to cancel.
What interview modes are available?
HotSeat offers live voice interviews (record-and-transcribe or realtime voice), text-based interviews, and adaptive knowledge tests (MCQ). Each mode uses your profile to personalize questions and produces scored feedback.
Is my resume and interview data private?
Yes. Your resume, transcripts, and reports are private to your account. HotSeat does not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling and service providers.
How is my interview scored?
After your session, a judge evaluates only evidence present in your responses: technical knowledge, depth, problem-solving, communication, and composure. Every score links back to verbatim transcript excerpts in your report, so feedback is explainable and actionable rather than generic.
